He has two degrees, MBBCh (Wits) and BSc(Med) and has done numerous online business courses with Wharton business school. Dr Johan has done more than 35 courses in Aesthetics Medicine and has been taught by top trainers and Professors, both locally in South Africa and International trainers from the UK, Europe and Australia.
Dr Johan's career has involved the management of a private hospital in Maputo, the development director responsible for the design, construction and roll out of the Medicross group of over 55 clinics (over a three and a half year period) that he developed around SA. Combined with integrated Health Care Delivery this was a world first and was nominated for business of the year. Dr Hugo is currently in the final throws of developing the 2nd generation of Medical Centers throughout Africa which is a modern, highly efficient and much improved new up to date model of Health Care Delivery from his previous work.
